Big News for Crores of Farmers Waiting for the 20th Installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi
There is great news for crores of farmers eagerly awaiting the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi. According to recent information, ₹2,000 may be credited to your account this month. Under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year, distributed in three installments of ₹2,000 each.
The previous installment was released in February, and now everyone is eagerly waiting for the 20th installment. As per sources, the next installment may be transferred to farmers' accounts on June 20, 2025. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet, though some media reports have mentioned this date.
Complete Required Documents to Receive the Installment
If you haven’t completed the necessary documentation or formalities related to the PM-Kisan scheme yet, do so as soon as possible. The government is also running a saturation drive to ensure that maximum eligible farmers can benefit from the scheme.
Only Eligible Farmers Will Receive the Benefit – Find Out If You’re Included
In view of irregularities observed in the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the government has taken a significant step. Now, only those farmers who have registered correctly under the scheme will receive the ₹2,000 installment.
If you haven’t completed your Farmer Registry or obtained a Farmer ID, the upcoming 20th installment on June 20 may not be credited to your account.
However, there’s no need to panic—there’s still time. You can easily complete this process online and secure your eligibility for the next installment.
e-KYC is Mandatory – Next Installment May Be Delayed Without It
If you have not yet completed your e-KYC, your upcoming installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi might get delayed. Completing this process is very important, and the good news is that you can still do it.
To complete e-KYC, visit the official PM-Kisan portal and go to the “Farmer Corner,” where you will find the e-KYC option. There, you can complete it using your Aadhaar number and biometric authentication.
If you don’t have online access, you can visit your nearest CSC (Common Service Center) to complete the process.
It’s worth noting that in the 19th installment released in February, the central government had transferred PM-Kisan funds to 10,04,67,693 farmers. If you also wish to receive the next installment, please complete your e-KYC as soon as possible.
Lakhs of Farmers May Miss Out – No Benefit Without Registration
There are still a large number of farmers across the country who have not completed the Farmer Registry, and they may miss out on the next installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi.
In Uttar Pradesh, for example, there are a total of 2.88 crore beneficiaries, but only 1.14 crore farmers have completed the Farmer Registry so far. In Madhya Pradesh, the situation is slightly better, with over 88% of farmers having completed the registration. Out of 95.18 lakh beneficiaries in the state, 74 lakh farmers have already registered.
In Maharashtra, 86% of farmers have registered, while in Rajasthan, out of more than 90 lakh farmers, only 60.49 lakh have completed their registration.
So, farmers who have not yet completed this process should do so soon, or they may miss out on the 20th installment.
